Same issue, FlexRAID.exe (not manager) hits 100% on an attempted import.

Ok.. so it's the FlexRAID engine that locks up, not the client app.
@Brahim.. Do you know why the engine would lock up after an import command? Is there something I can do to prevent this?

Ok.
I'll update the app. so that it will display these empty units.
I've uploaded build 1.0.4.3.
This build shows the empty units.

I see nothing that would cause FlexRAID to lock on import.
When I tested, it was the client app that was running at 100%.

Can you test it with the current build and see if it still locks up?

The latest build worked without issues. It detected that my configuration file was old and overwrote it. The import took about 2 seconds. Can you rename the log button to something alluding to where the command buttons are (Manage, Commands, etc.)? Or maybe adding a button next to "Modify" that takes the user to the same page as Log? It is not intuitive to go from Config to Log to execute a command. Also, the restore button is disabled on my install. [Edit] Closing the client and restarting it, brought back the restore button.

I tried the latest build and it exhibits the same behaviour.
I had to kill FlexRAID.exe process to unpeg the CPU.
The FlexRAID DEBUG logs don't show anything:

I will have to go back and log the FlexRAIDManager as you set out above when I finished what I am in the middle of doing.
EDIT: I just reread your previous post. Since we know it is the FlexRAID.exe that is pegged, what else can I log for you?

Just checking back in. I can confirm that 1.4b7 will now import and display the config properly from a linux host. I will run additional tests and let you know if anything else turns up. Also, I am not seeing the 100% cpu on the flexraid host that others have mentioned.

@yu130960
Try to post a screenshot of your Windows Task Manager (Processes tab) showing the CPU usage of FlexRAID and FlexRAIDManager when the problem occurs.
Also, post a screenshot of the client GUI at the same time.

I've renamed it to actions.

I've updated the code that is responsible for enabling/disabling the actions.

I love this app - it provides a very nice way to set up the array.
My only comment would be I struggled to create my first array - I didn't know what metadata I should give to the app as I was creating a new one. Also I found it strange that the scheduler stuff was being done on the client machine, not the server - but I understand why it is.
Love the app!
Thanks
Ross

The client is now working great for me.
Schedules cannot run on systems without a password, but this is not the client app's fault.
It would actually be a security issue if tasks could be run without a password.

I still get errors when launching the gui that my metadata configuration does not match and it asks me if I want to import. This is an issue if the OS is rebooted for sec updates, because the gui does not fully run, it waits for the metadata error to be cleared.
It is still giving me this error, despite completely clearing the config, deleting the entire raid. And re-creating my raid with the gui. This way all config was done with the gui.

After I posted this I was reading the other news posts in the forums and I was reminded of an issue when I was using the Webgui. I was getting errors out of my raid due to metadata files generated by mymovies that are being updated freqently. Using the exclusions option in the runtime properties I was able to tell flexraid to ignore the mymovies files.
Could this have a bearing on the problems I am seeing?
Is is going to be possible to exclude files in the gui eventually?

Can you post the output of the "import <metadatalocation>" command?

When I setup that config I get the following data in my config.xml file.
Does your Config.xml contains the same data?
