Not bad, although I am a bit confused on how it works. We'll see in the beta I guess.
Make sure to include some kind of scheduling.

1. huh... a bit early to be confused... won't you agree?
2. There is a big clock named "Scheduler" in that pic.

Thanks.
It is also fully internationalized.
Even English users will be able to change every label and messages to what makes sense to them... more on that later.

The next client will be web based but fully embedded into the host service (no more separate install).
The CMD client is also going way.
So, no more clients per say (and no more config files)... just point your browser to the host and configure away.
Really looking forward to this being released. UI improvements look great. So glad I didn't go hardware Raid 6. Thanks for your hard work on this and have a Merry Christmas.

nitpick: get rid of the "My" nomenclature - redundant and "last decade" Instead of "My Real-Time RAID", maybe just Realtime RAID and Snapshot RAID. OR better yet just "Flexraid" with toggles for realtime and snapshot modes (and having them both enabled would mean realtime + snapshots).
Also weren't you playing with the idea of getting rid of drive letters for Flexraid's realtime mode? Such that a whole disk gets captured to the array and isn't available to Windows Disk Management, so people can't screw things up.
Lastly, another reminder and encouragement, that if you manage to pull this off in terms of tech AND also market the new Flexraid properly, you'll have created the closest filesystem to "the holy grail" of being able to combine disks of different sizes in a file-based, non-striping parity model on a commodity operating system (Windows), with the ability to expand and shrink the "array"/pool. ZFS can't do it, unRAID has come close but has lots of limitations and runs *nix which is out of average joe's comfort zone, Drobo has come closest with BeyondRaid but its expensive and hardware-only (and its expensive because they took less than perfect tech and marketed it perfectly).
And once again it's especially perfect timing since DE has been pulled from WHS2- the forums continue to overflow with people acting like confused ants, wondering which new path to take. Your time is now.

I had asked that this be an option (either defaulted on or off) so that people like me that use TrueCrypt or other disk encryption tools can still keep the server drives encrypted yet have the FlexRAID protection at the drive letter level. This way it could then work both ways - only use the whole disk by default, but give an option to also use drive letters if preferred. What this will do then is when Windows boots up, TrueCrypt will automatically decrypt and mount the drives and then FlexRAID will protect them based on their drive letters.

Eventually.

That was just an example configuration name.
Ultimately, the user will determine what they want to name their RAID configurations.
Again, this was just a spoiler as there is more the flow than pictured.
When a user logs into a fresh install, there are only two icons ("Add New Configuration" and "Scheduler").
Users will be able to create Snapshot configurations, Real-time configurations, or Storage Pool Only configurations.
Once you create a configuration, an icon gets created on the desktop for that configuration.

I certainly did.
As cg2010 mentioned, I received a number of petitions not to.
So, I plan for the default configuration to be with the RAID'ed drives to be hidden with the options not to.

It would be nice to run this under IIS,PHP,MySQL config installing another webserver on a WHS box is annoying. Is this even possible now or in the future?

This new UI runs under its own embedded HTTP/HTTPs server.
Nothing to install or configure except maybe the ports if there is port conflict.
The embedded DB it uses is also another marvel of simplicity and lightness.

Can't wait to release it either.
It is the little things (read tedious) that are taking time now.
Let's give it another week or two (since I am going to be heavily distracted this week).
