Installing FlexRAID Host on Windows














During the normal installation process, you have the option to install the FlexRAID Host as a service.




OR (you can do it after the installation process has completed)




Verify




Important notes:

In order to include network shares in your RAID, you need to run the FlexRAID Host Service under a user that has the following rights:
- Administrator rights
- Log on as service right
- Access right to the network share being mounted

The default setup, which is to run the FlexRAID Host Service under the "Local System Account", does not have network access right; therefore, it won't be able to access the network shares.
