FlexRAID Wiki pages

Big thanks to Smurf-IV (real name?) for starting this up.

FlexRAID needs a wiki site and user driven content badly.

Wikipedia rebelled, and then deleted it

Who? What? When?

How did this happen?
Were there any warnings? (I guess I was gone too long)

Oh well.
Anybody knows if we can recover the page?

So I guess not only you don't like messenger services, but you also keep away from your email long periods of time eh?

Are you sure you like computers?

FYI
Proposed deletion of FlexRAID
Ambox warning yellow.svg

The article FlexRAID has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No reliable sources http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:RS to establish notability http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:N of a software project.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. tedder (talk) 03:34, 10 August 2010 (UTC)

Ah, so basically, I can't add content to it.
I acknowledge that I corrected and added some content for clarity.

Frankly, I does not bother me that it is not on wikipedia.
I think a technical wiki page with tutorials is more in line with what we were looking for in the first place.

Yes you can, as long as you state that you are the author of the piece of software
Brahim wrote:I acknowledge that I corrected and added some content for clarity.

On the your Home page you have put the tm next to FlexRAID, if it really is tm'd then this can go into the Wiki Page to prevent it from being removed (Although I do remember reading somewhere that FlexRaid actually belonged to DELL and a BIOS setup that they used for some of their server cards !!)

If it's there then it leads to people coming here !
Brahim wrote:I think a technical wiki page with tutorials is more in line with what we were looking for in the first place.

Then please add / correct to that as well

Has any one seen FlexRAID mentioned in any other webpages that are not forums?
Then this condition can be cleared if it has:
It needs sources or references that appear in third-party publications. Tagged since September 2010.

No idea, I suppose if they [The Wiki watchdog(s)] see links to non-affiliated sites, then that "Might" be enough.
Would you like to edit the wiki page and add your entries in ?

My only edits on wikipedia were paragraph changes and such.

I don't know what to do to fulfill the reference requirements of the reviewers.

Here are two articles:

http://nulusios.blogspot.com/2010/02/nas-or-something-like-that-version-25.html
(but this is in Greek)

Nice.
I still have some obsolete information floating around (FAQ for instance) that needs cleaning up.
Feel free ask me about or edit information you feel is no longer valid.

When I get some time, I will edit the info myself and start migrating everything on the main site to wikkii.
The information on the main site is cumbersome to update (hence why it is stale).
