Which RAID engine are you using?
The T1+, T2, T2+, and Tx engines require that native library.
So, unless you are using the T1 engine, I would like to know how you were able to successfully create the RAID.
As posted before, I think this issue is related to the library on working on 64bit and that I will need to provide a 64 bit version of it.
FYI, FlexRAID does not run on Java: http://wiki.flexraid.com/2011/03/26/in-what-language-is-flexraid-written/

I created the array by selecting snapshot raid first and selecting the amount of data drives and parity drives and raid time(Tx) then selected live view(which does grey out the options, however when you create the live raid I was able to drag over my mount points correctly 4 1.5's and a 2 tb for parity and able to configure everything and it actually did the parity over night. It did show up as Tx on the configuration screen(whether it used it is another matter however). Sorry for being a little bit of a noob with this, just trying to help out.

If you look at the screenshot above, you will see a "plus" sign (Add new configuration). It is your entry point.
You use that to add a "Storage Pool Only" configuration (View).
There is not text file to deal with in FlexRAID 2.0. Everything is done through the UI.
I feel I'm real close and learning a lot but still a basic noob with Linux.
I installed FlexRAID V2.0 using profile admin
I created a group profile called "ruse"
I linked admin to "ruse" group profile
I have the Preview Working.
I have the Start/Republish working
There is an error in the log, when ever I "start/Republish" but within the GUI interface no errors
I can share the new link /var/hda/storage with shares and copy to them
But actually the shares are just on the / partition and not part of the FlexRAID drives that were specified earlier
** I don't see the new virtual drive anywhere. (Not sure if you need to do a mount or something for this to physically come up).
Thanks for any potential solutions....After learning so much with this I'm now determined to see it working, as the concept is what I'm after...

It is "fuse" not "ruse".
Also, I am not sure what you mean by profile, but my post refers to groups (user groups).
Try the auto balanced folder priority. It could be that there you have uncovered a bug in the auto balanced space priority mode.

You are confusing me.
There are three modes: Snapshot, Real-Time, and Storage Pool Only.
Real-Time and Storage Pool Only are exclusive, but you can have them along with multiple Snapshot RAID configuration.
So, in detail, which configurations are you using? Screenshots could help.

Sorry, I mean't "fuse" and user groups.
I change the priority and got the same error.
I run this ./FlexRAID & through the terminal under "admin", the profile I used for installation.
I noticed that I need to get into the WEBUI to start the pooling / View portion of the system. Once I do that the errors come up on the terminal screen.

1. You are running a real-time RAID configuration
2. Not sure how you were able to select the Tx engine, but that was not supposed to happen as it is not enabled in real-time parity
3. Attach the logs (C:\FlexRAID.sys.log and <install dir>\log.log). If you have not enabled debug mode yet, enable it: wiki.flexraid.com
@hendrnk
Try this mode: Auto-Minimized-Folder-Split-Priority and report back.

Try this mode: Auto-Minimized-Folder-Split-Priority and report back.
No difference.
I reinstalled Fedora 14 without the Amahi server installation. (thinking some how Amahi setup was causing the issues)
I get a different error "/var/hda/storage" file does not exist and cannot be created when trying to start the view.

I believe I'm running into the same problem as hendrnk.
I have my merge configuration set to:
-/home/ben/FlexView
|-*Auto-Minimized-Folder-Split-Priority
/mnt/dru1, /mnt/dru2, /mnt/ppu1 were all chmod 777
and I have added user "ben" to the "fuze" group.
The View starts but and shows up under Ubuntu's places, but when I click on it it gives the message "Could not open location'file:///home/ben/FlexView' Error stating file '/home/ben/FlexView': No such file or directory"
I'm likely missing a set, can you fill me in.

Made some progress but still no resolution.
1) Install FlexRAID with admin (user)
2) at a terminal interface, I run "./FlexRAID &" in the directory I installed it with "root" (user)
3) I create the configurations with the GUI interface and get an error "/home/admin/storage" not found and cannot be created.
4) Go into terminal and create "/home/admin/storage" (not sure why this is the case and I believe shouldn't be the case
5) Run step 2 again, no errors and even get something come up "places" called storage.
6) Click on 'storage' get an error, list below
7) When I create a share with SAMBA for '/home/admin/storage' from windows the path is not found and not accessible

Could you please also attach your FlexRAID.sys.log file?
Again, the Linux port has only been tested on Ubuntu.
Now:
- The mount point folder must exist and must be readable and writable to the user mounting the View (I will try to automate the creating of the mount point in future releases)
- If you stop the view, are you able to navigate to the mount point folder?

I understand & appreciate the advise and suggestions. Nothing like trouble shooting to help learn a new OS.
I recreated the 'storage' folder in /home/admin with user admin. I can get into the folder until I startup FlexRAID View.
But it makes no difference with trying to access it either from Windows or the Linux Desktop once FlexAID View has been started.
I'm wondering if I shouldn't have installed FlexRAID using the "root" user. From memory if I don't it doesn't install correctly. Tried so many configurations..

Agreed. Your troubleshooting efforts are going to make it easy for me to address any port issues relating to Fedora and ultimately Amahi once I get back to the code (busy with other stuff till next week for now).
Keep it up.
Looking at the logs, the View seems to mount fine. Even more, it looks like you even had it working at several occasion.
Let's look at the last example:
Was that you creating and deleting the "/Test 3" and "/Test12" folders?
Another good news is that the program is actually not crashing, but something is un-mounting it as the on_destroy method is properly being called.
So, take a closer look at the logs and see if some of the actions make sense and if you can tie them to things happening on the OS.

I was creating these directories via SAMBA configuration from the Amahi server package. They seem to create but once you go to Windows the path is invalid. Similar you cannot see 'storage' within Linux. I'm just wondering if its a security issue on how it has been setup and run.
I have a question on security:
1) Should FlexRAID be installed as "user" or via "root". I installed via "user" called admin
2) Should "./FlexRAID &" be run as a "user" or via "root". Error is listed below when run via user admin.
I start the system by manually entering commands via the terminal interface. And start the View portion via GUI interface but once I close the terminal interface the GUI interface doesn't work any more as it seems to close down FlexRAID. I assume there is someway around this process. Not worried to much now as still need to get it working correctly...

You should install and run FlexRAID as a regular user and not root unless you have specific requirements that drive you to do otherwise.

Try this mode: Auto-Minimized-Folder-Split-Priority and report back.
Brahim I figured out how i made that screen shot look as though I'm running the Tx engine. I haven't had a lot of time in the last week or 2 to mess with it, however to reproduce that screen shot is simple
#1. Setup a snapshot raid with tx but don't create
#2 Switch to realtime raid in webgui
#3. Create Realtime time raid
Then you will have the screen I show you. I'm assuming that some input variables aren't being cleared when snapshot to realtime are clicked.
I won't have much time to do debug logs as I am not at home.
Thanks
