so exemples in tooltips are not correct.

must be
Ex: 2048000000

and not
Ex: verifyStart=2048000000

And so, same question for several fields:
tooltipSnapshotOptionsValidateSet
tooltipSnapshotOptionsExclusions
tooltipSnapshotOptionsDiffCheckMatch
....

Must be

$valuname=value
ex : DiffCheckMatch=*

or only

value
ex : *

@xliv
In regard to the missing quotes in "CommandMessage_fr.properties", I will do some text with doubling the quote for one property and see if that resolves things and will let you know.

@nulbox
Just the value needs to be entered.
I understand your point about the confusion from the way that is being presented.
Maybe we should just remove the variable names in the examples.

Ok for the quote.
About the variable - yes I agree, those refer to variables that people using scripting know. They don't have a meaning in the UI, so they should be removed.

Oops!
I will edit the English version for more clarity.

Yes, the value in is file size expressed in number (bytes), KB, MB, or GB (Ex: 100MB).
The recommended value would be 50MB (or higher when applied to all files).
Ultimately, it highly depends on the type of files being usually edited (not delete or new files, but edits) in the RAID.
Static files (those that are simply added and then deleted as opposed to edited) should of course be excluded.
Using regular expression are path matching, specific folders can be included to limit the scope.

@nulbox: ok for your modifications, I did some very minor corrections.
I also updated the XXX with the comments from Brahim on the tooltipSnapshotOptionsDiffCheckThreshold.
I think the version is fine.

Hi Xliv,

I made one more modification.

Just to confirm, tooltips descriptions with only one "tab" are additional lines than are not present in the original English file ?

Not sure what you mean with one tab?
I think that the number of lines in tooltips does not matter that much, except that it could mess up diff / merge when updating from the english version (unless Brahim has a magical way of regenerating the files from the default one).

This

whereas all the others comments have 2 "tabs".

I believed you put only one "tab" voluntarily to identified all lines added to the English version (additional comments, explaination or exemples)

It is true than with additional lines and so line number mismatched, it could be harder to merge modifications from english version.

Oh, right - I think those tabs are not important for the tooltip - anyway they are before the br tag so basically at the end of the line.
No, I did not touch those tabs, maybe my editor (scite) did that.

The line numbers don't matter, but as you stated, keeping it inline with the default can be useful as a sanity check on your end.

@Brahim: 1 thing looks strange in the translated version: the mail settings page, at the bottom where you select which notifications you want to send, the words are ordered in "English mode". Would maybe be better to have each of them as a separate item.

@xliv
Ah, that was me trying to cheap a bit.
Should have known better.
Those are two separate labels I am combining since I got too lazy to create labels specific for this purpose.
Will fix that.

Or do you think I can just do: "Alertes (Verification)"?
Would that make sense by putting the action parenthesis?

Bah, I should just do it the proper way. See, still trying to be lazy with it.

I think the parenthesis solution is perfectly fine (trying to help you focus on the pool refactoring )
Or actually have Alerte as a "title" for that section, and only "Verification" for each line.
