I tried it out and got a library problem (I'm running 64 bit Fedora 14-Amahi)
It says ERROR: ERROR: lib load error - NativeIO...
ERROR: Lib load failure - NativeIO
any ideas?
I am having the same problems as well. I have the IA32 libraries installed as well as 32 bit java due to running sagetv. I was able to intially create the array, even had the parity completed over night. But rebooted the machine and now am unable to start it. Running 64 bit ubuntu 10.10
So is there a solution to this? I'm running 64bit Ubuntu and have no intention switching back to 32bit.

I got some errors when not running FlexRAID from it's own folder (e.g. being somewhere in /dev and calling "~/FlexRAID/FlexRAID &" didn't work, first changing into ~/FlexRAID and then issuing "./FlexRAID &" did)
Have you installed the 32bit libraries already?

I'm running FlexRAID from the installation folder. I installed some 32bit libs to get FlexRAID execute-able. What package to use to get NativeIO lib working?

Guys, make sure FlexRAID is being executed from its working directory.
I am suspecting many of the reported issues have to do with it not finding some of the resources it needs.

Server (VMware ESXi): dual Quad 8356@2.4Ghz | ASUS KFN5-D SLI | 16GB (4x 4GB) DDR2 667Mhz ECC REG w/Parity [Chipkill] | Radeon X300 | Intel 160GB SSD (VM datastore) | 6+ TB storage
File Server VM (running FlexRAID): 512MB RAM | 2 vCPUs | 6TB storage | Parity on 2TB NAS |

I have been executing it from the working folder.
I have two rigs running slackware. The fist is version 12 and FlexRaid runs as it should. The second (mentioned above) is version 10, and when I try to execute FlexRAID, I get this :
Thats it, the entire log file.
Thanks again for the help !

@kayl
Well, it is interesting that it work on Slackware 12 and not on 10.
Unfortunately, I nothing comes to mind as to why that might be.
