I used the following guide to install and setup FlexRaid:

http://www.havetheknowhow.com/Configure-the-server/Install-FlexRAID-v2.x.html

I now have FlexRaid setup as desired and a Snapshot raid configured and working as expected. Following the guide, Flexraid is being run automatically at boot. This leads to it being run as the root user. So far, it's all good.

The issue is when I try to setup a storage pool to aggregate my drives. I can setup and configure the pool, but the only user who can see and use it is the root user. I tried the suggestions in the wiki here:

http://wiki.flexraid.com/2011/06/01/linux-granting-storage-pool-access-to-root-and-other-users/

I added both my user and the root user to the "fuse" group and made the changes indicated by that wiki page, but I still get permission denied when I try to view the directory containing the pool.

FWIW, I am able to view that directory and it's pooled contents just fine as the root user that started the FlexRaid service.

Any advice?
