Hello,
someone ever tried to use flexraid with a 0815 Atom CPU (1,6 GHz, 2 Gig Ram etc.), 2 S-Ata onboard d +2 S-Ata via PciExpress?
How would/could be read/write Performance for building and rebuilding the raid with 3 Data Sources and 1 Parity Source?
I think, performance would be aweful, wouldn't it?

So, you could inofficially send me the binaries?

Okay, it took a little bit longer then a few hours ... just ... a little bit.
But - yay - all my data are safe *smile*
Is there a way to get flexraid working on my OSX Leopard native?
Or at least - is there a GUI Client for Mac OSX Native?

>How much data do you have?
7,56 TB (6x 1.5 TB would be the total capacity)
>How many paths do you have in your PPU?
3 drives
>Is this the case that you have multiple drives in your PPU and one of them was lost?
yes
>Or were you just simulating losing part of the PPU and deleted the metadata?
yes, too
i rebuilded the scenario in a virtual machine to test, what to do next
DRU
d:\ 300mb
g:\ 300mb
PPU
e:\ 100mb
f:\ 200mb
Then i formated f:\
It's pretty equal to what happend in my real life scenario

Error message: [Ljava.lang.String;@1d40ab8 contains parity data! Please choose a different directory.
Does this mean, i have to kill all PPU's and have to rebuild (the parity for) my whole DRUs?
This would take serval days ....

Hello,
while i started with FlexRAID, i tested the failure of one of the DRUs serval times, but never the failure of one of the drives in the PPU.
This funny thing happend today. So i changed the failed drive, but what now?
Validate says ... indeed ... An exception has occurred!

Error message: F:\flxr.meta
ReSync failes also ...
